Object create - mandatory fields denied.
No, I think if a mandatory field is denied on an object create, the transaction fails. Get James to try it in 2.05, and I think you'll get the same result.
So if you create a provider, and you include an address, but don't have permissions on address line 1 (a mandatory) then the whole create provider tx will fail.
