I believe we should be able to fire messages from untrusted sources. Is that not correct? We will not be able to fully test Functional Permissions unless we can fire messages as an untrusted source.
James, you should be able to get the TestHarness going on your machine - just make sure that the READ ONLY is OFF for all files in the TestHarness directory. Ask Shawn which port to use.
No, if you set the sending application chid to anything other than BCPRSCLNT, then unless the role "DUMMY ROLE" has some permissions on interactions, then the transaction will be denied. However, I think you should get a returned message indicating that the function was denied.
